Providing funds to students, faculty and employees of Tipp City Schools for the creation of, or participation in, enrichment programs
The Tippecanoe Educational Endowment Fund (“TEE”) was established in 1999 to support Tipp City Schools by promoting the programs and activities of Tipp City Schools through donations and gifts in support of academic excellence, fine and performing arts and general activities. Each year TEE awards grants to classrooms in the Tipp City School District to promote excellence in a variety of endeavors including (but not limited to): student academic achievement, scientific inquiry, literacy, history, music, fine arts and performing arts, health and wellness, parent and/or student educational programs and resources, information technology, volunteerism, culture of kindness, and conflict resolution.
The Tippecanoe Educational Endowment Fund accepts grant requests from any classroom teacher(s) or employee(s) of the Tipp City School District. The maximum amount of each grant is $2,000. Grants may not be used to replace existing public funds or for direct compensation of public school teachers, staff or students. Requests are reviewed annually in November with the grant deadline being posted at the Tipp City Board of Education office each year. Applications must be submitted online by clicking the button below. We regret that incomplete requests and requests submitted past the deadline will not be reviewed.
Applicants are encouraged to contact The Troy Foundation for questions on eligibility for funding and the application process. Applicants will be notified of the decision by the Grant Advisory Committee in writing. Those receiving grants must sign and return a grant acceptance document before funds can be disbursed. A final report narrative will be due within eleven months from the time funding is received or at the completion of the project or program for which the grant was awarded.
Teacher of the Year Program and Red Devil Award
Since 2007, the Tippecanoe Educational Endowment (TEE) has sponsored the Teacher of the Year Award. This annual event pays tribute to the Tipp City Schools’ exemplary teaching staff and honors their contributions to our students and community. In 2025, the Tippecanoe Educational Endowment would also like to recognize the many contributions of other staff members in the district with the Red Devil Award.
