Scholarships available to Seniors at all Miami County High Schools or who are residents of Miami County & surrounding Counties
Anonymous Scholarship
One $3,000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Miami County High Schools who is accepted to attend either a vocational school or a two or four-year college or university will be eligible for this award.
Arthur and Nancy Hattan Scholarship
This scholarship was established to provide scholarships to Miami County Resident for post-high school educational programs in the field of animal care and/or an animal related career field. Recipient selection will be based on financial need, extracurricular activities, school activities, community activities, and academic record. One $500 scholarship is available. This scholarship is renewable for one additional year as long as the student meets the renewal requirements.
Catherine E. “Katie” Krajesky Latta Memorial Scholarship
This memorial scholarship was established to assist deserving graduates of Miami County high schools pursuing a career in healthcare. Applications are open to students attending an accredited program at either a two or four-year college, university, or technical school. One $1,000 scholarship will be available.
Collins Aerospace Science Scholarship
Established to assist deserving graduates of Miami County, Ohio, seniors at all Miami County high schools are eligible for this scholarship. Applications are open to students pursuing scientific studies in either a two or four year college or university. Six $1,500 scholarships will be available.
Harold and Isabel Stephenson Memorial Scholarship
Graduating seniors of Miami County, Ohio high schools will be eligible for this scholarship to attend a vocational school. Applicants should be students who have demonstrated themselves to be well-rounded individuals. One $1,000 scholarship will be available.
Karen Ingle Memorial Art Scholarship
Established in memory of Karen Ingle to give the youth today the opportunity to aspire to the heights where Karen soared. Graduating senior (or graduate) from a Miami County High School in Ohio who will be enrolling for the first time to pursue an art degree at a college, university or art school. GPA of 2.0 or higher. One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded.
Luis Alejandro Del Cid Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Luis Alejandro Del Cid to provide scholarships to one deserving male graduate and one deserving female graduate who plan to further their education at a 2 year college or university or trade school. Students who will be considered for this award must have at least a 3.5 GPA and demonstrate their involvement in extracurricular activities. Hispanic heritage may be considered as one of several selection criteria. Two $2,000 scholarships are available.
Miami County Medical Society Alliance Scholarship
This fund was established in 1998 by the Miami County Medical Society Alliance to assist deserving residents of Miami County, Ohio, to attend an accredited post-high school training or education program in a health care related field. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing, pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and must have completed the required pre-nursing course of study.
Panasonic Legacy Scholarship
Established by MT Picture Display Corp. of America, this scholarship is available to any Miami County high school senior. One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded per year.
Road Less Traveled Scholarship of the Tipp City Foundation
This scholarship available to any Miami Valley resident attending a post-high school trade school. Eligible applicants must be focusing their education in one of the following areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Automotive. One scholarship is available.
Stouder Memorial Auxiliary Scholarship
The Stouder Memorial Auxiliary established this scholarship. Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors residing in Miami County, Ohio, and pursuing an education in a health care related field. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
The Anna Margaret Latta Memorial Scholarship
This fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to deserving graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in accounting or finance. One $800 scholarship will be awarded.
The Russell F. Van Horn Memorial Scholarship
This fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to deserving graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.
Walter C. and Lucile M. Daniel Scholarship
Established by Lucile M. Daniel, this scholarship award will be made to a minimum of one young man and one young woman each year. Applicants must reside in Miami County, Ohio, have a minimum of a 2.8 GPA, and pursue post high school training in a health care related field. Ten (5 female and 5 male) $1,500 scholarships are available.
William H. and Mary K. Dickinson Scholarship
Three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors of any high school in Miami County, public or private, including vocational schools.
