Providing assistance to organizations that provide health care services
The Stouder Memorial Foundation, originally known as The Stouder Memorial Hospital Foundation, was established in 1974 to support the Stouder Memorial Hospital. In 1998, with the closure of Stouder Memorial Hospital and the opening of Upper Valley Medical Center, the Stouder Foundation chose to become a donor advised fund of The Troy Foundation to broaden its scope in providing assistance to organizations that provide health care services in Miami County while still providing major support to Upper Valley Medical Center.
The Stouder Memorial Foundation accepts grant requests from charitable organizations providing health care services in Miami County. Requests are reviewed quarterly in January, April, July and October. In addition to a completed and signed application, each request must include the items listed in the application requirements guidelines. We regret that incomplete requests and requests submitted past the deadline will not be reviewed.
Grant Application Deadlines:
January 1
April 1
July 1
October 1
Applicants are encouraged to contact The Troy Foundation for questions on eligibility for funding and the application process. Applicants are advised of the decision of the Advisory Committee within ten working days of the grant request review meeting. Those receiving grants must sign and return a grant acceptance document before funds can be disbursed. A final report narrative will be due within ninety days from the time funding is received or at the completion of the project or program for which the grant was awarded.
Applications will be accepted in hard copy form (additional copies not necessary) or electronically via email using the information on the Contact Information tab.
