The Troy Foundation Apple Grants
The Apple Grant Program was established to provide teachers in the Troy City School District, St. Patrick School and Troy Christian School funding assistance to enhance the educational experience in their classrooms. Teachers of students in grades K through 12 may apply and requests can be for no more than $1,000.00.
Teachers must have their applications signed by the Superintendent of Schools and the Building Principal. Requests are submitted to and reviewed by The Troy Foundation Distribution Committee at their June meeting, in most cases, applicants will be notified by June 30th. Upon completion of the project or program for which a grant is received, the grant recipient is asked to submit a brief final report stating how the funds were used and how the classroom experience was enhanced.
- Applicants may apply for up to $1,000.00 *The total project budget may not exceed $1,000.00.
Schools that qualify, K-12th Grades:
Troy City School District (elementary, junior high and high school), Troy Christian School – (please include Troy students information in the application letter) and St. Patrick School (please include Troy students information in the application letter)
We encourage all other schools and preschools to apply during the regular Troy Foundation quarterly grant process.
